Understanding the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program launched in December 2023 to make essential dental care more affordable for eligible Canadians.
It covers a range of services, from preventive care to more complex procedures, helping patients maintain and improve their oral health.

Important
The CDCP Is Not Fully Covered!
Even if you qualify for the plan, you will likely have a co-pay — an out-of-pocket amount you must pay directly to the clinic at the time of your visit.
The exact amount depends on your household income and the CDCP’s established fees.
Our front desk team will always review your expected co-pay before your appointment so there are no surprises.

Dental Services Eligible for CDCP Coverage
The CDCP includes a wide range of dental services:
Note: Most of these services will involve a co-pay, which we’ll review with you before your visit.

Who Qualifies for the CDCP?
The CDCP is available to Canadian residents who meet the government’s income and residency requirements. Eligibility is open to all age groups, from children to seniors, but most patients will have a co-pay based on household income.
You will also need to meet the plan’s specific application and registration requirements before coverage begins. Our team can help confirm your eligibility when you call to book.
